One of the best things about being at the cabin is not having any set plans during the day and just hanging out and doing whatever you wish. Today I slept in until about 10 before taking the Jeep up to the top of La Manga Pass (10, 321 feet) with Mom and Alice.
I went on a run with Alice and let her play in the river while I just sat and enjoyed God's creation and spent some nice quiet time.
Uncle Walter, Dad and myself went on what Uncle Walter calls a "fruit shoot" up at Spruce Hole. We took some onions, potatoes, cans and water bottles and unloaded several hundred rounds of ammo. This is an annual event - especially when Uncle Walter brings his arsenal of pistols with him. He only brought three this year but a few years ago he had 13 pistols with him.
